IGN Post Script

(Mozilla, Netscape, Camino, Safari, etc.):

Since each browser has different speeds and button handling, you can customize the script to fit your needs.

Which posts should the textbox be available from? (more posts *may* slow down operation)
First post only
Last post only
Both the first and last posts
All posts

How to display textboxes?
Toggle links to hide/show textboxes (only the last post affected will have the box shown at execution)
Show textboxes only (will not work with "all posts" above)

What type of submit method?
button
Auxilliary input (for browsers that don't let you tab to the post button -- just tab-enter to post)

How to handle the post?
Auxilliary window -- posts are sent to a small window in the background to prevent interferring with the main navigation
Main window -- posts are all handled in the same window, meaning you need to wait for the confirmation screen

Signature (board markup to appear after your post -- note: this appears immediately after your post text, so include any and all spacing you need)






Important note about Camino:
Camino's pop-up blocker apparently prevents this script from creating the windows for the auxilliary post window, and the preview window. In order to use those features, pop-up blocking must be disabled in the preferences.

--General Notes--

To use these, just click the bookmark in the thread you wish to reply to. It will create a new textbox and auto-focus, so you can just start typing. When you're done, click the post button (or tab to the auxilliary input and press enter, as the case may be), and it will post to IGN. You can preview the post by clicking on the "Preview" button, which brings up a new window showing exactly how the post will look.
